This manual describes how to use the Bever app, authorisation with Bever smart devices and their integration into a network.


The Bever app is available for iOS, macOS, Android or Windows. Download the Bever app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Microsoft Store.


Before you start, make sure that you have created an account and assigned the licence to use the Bever app.

1. Switch on the devices all devices

To start configuring your devices, first make sure that all devices are switched on and that you are within range of at least one device.


2.Search for devices

The Bever app starts directly with the search for compatible devices. The devices found are listed under the heading ‘Uncoupled’, see illustration:



NOTE:
If you have not found all your devices and would like to continue the search, tap the play button. This will ensure that you keep the devices that have already been found.
If you tap on the circular arrow, the devices already found will be lost and the search for devices will start again.


3. Authorising a device

To authorise a device, tap the device button, or if you want to authorise all devices in the ‘Not authorised' list, tap the 'Authorise' button.


Not authorised

If the status of a device is ‘NOT AUTHORISED’, this means that the app has not received a response from the device. This is the case if the user has not yet sent a request for authorisation or the connection was interrupted during authorisation. It can also happen if the user tries to authorise a device that is not yet compatible with the Bever App.


Other device authorised

If another device is already authorised, you must reset the device by switching it off and on again.

To try authorisation again, tap the device button or the ‘Authorise’ button.


Reset required

If the button shows the status Reset required, the device must be reset in order to be authorised. A pop-up window will also appear explaining how to authorise the device.

4. Adding a device to a network

To add a device to a network, tap the device button and then tap ‘Create new newrork’.



A pop-up window appears. Select the network ID here and optionally give the network a name and change the device settings before adding it to the network. You can also add the device to a group

Tap ‘Apply’. The device is added to the selected network.  


Or add it to an existing network by clicking on the Network tab.
